1959 VW Splitscreen Kombi Microbus - Unfinished Restoration Project
Location: Wauchope NSW 2446 (Near Port Macquarie).

This bus has had no expense spared since its restoration started in 2012, with all of the major fabrication work completed.
All work has been completed by a professional restoration company with over 420 hours of labour completed, along with only new parts installed all of which has been purchased from Das Resto Parts.
Chassis Number confirms that the bus was fabricated in August, 1959.
Originally purchased in 2009 in rural NSW as a barn find, the bus has been under restoration since then. There is no motor but does have a gearbox (condition unknown), includes all windows and body trimming with the exception of front and rear bumpers.
Selling due to the fact that since 2011 I have been living overseas with the intention of completing the restoration and returning to Australia, however this now seems unlikely.
Including the purchase price of the bus in 2009 along with all parts and labour the total cost to date is in excess of $57,000
