Original Notchback in excellent condition. Genuine service history. Neat as a pin. Much loved VW.
My much loved VW Type 3 TS Notchback (sedan) is up for sale.
I brought her a year ago from her third owner...original everything...interior, dash, bodywork, engine etc. All is excellent condition.
She is fully road registered and runs like a dream. Recently tuned by a reliable guy...she starts first time every time.
Some little facts about her:
- Mesh cover for the headlights
- Intact head lining, seats and seat belts. No staining
- Original dash (has normal Type 3 cracks in the centre...if you know Type 3's, you know these are common!)
- New tyres to front with flappers fitted all round for the white wall look
- Body work straight with some minor chips and nicks (standard with her age)
- Clear/White indicators in line with age (pre 1975)
- 4 speed manual with clutch in good order
- Original floor carpets in good order for age (some wear at pedal to be expected)
- Blinds to rear for sun protection
- Spare with good tread
- Full log books and service history (goes back to original purchase from new car dealer in Canberra)
- Genuine 21563 miles on the clock
She runs on the smell of an oily rag...but yet takes off and keeps up with the pack as good as any new 1.6L.
