1975 Kombi Camper - Heidi
2012 full restoration in Sydney by previous owner with the assistance of VW Custom Bugs and Buses Penrith, Black Needle Auto Upholstery and Extreme Body Repairs and Restorations.
Heidi is Laguna Blue and White, with Speedwell BRM 17” chrome rims. She remains in great condition. In the restoration she was soundproofed, certified 3-seat rock’n’roll full-width bed (licenced to carry driver and four passengers), new bamboo flooring, new cupboards, new leather seats, Waeco fridge, LED downlights in rear, Clarion 4-speaker sound system with drop down DVD system. New poptop canvas and bed boards, roof rack, side step, dual battery system. Marine grade floor carpet in cabin and rear space. 1800 engine with Blazecut fire suppression system installed.
Comes with original log book, as well as restoration papers and receipts (check out how much cash Heidi has consumed!). Manuals for fridge, stereo and DVD player included. There’s even a CD of images showing her full restoration. Current registration until October 2018. Number plates “KOMBIZ” sold with Heidi.
She starts and runs well. 100kph on the highway no worries.
Engine was rebuilt in 2006. Only 20,000kms travelled since the rebuild.
She even featured in “The Tears” music video. Song by Doug Bruce and music video features Kevin Bloody Wilson!!
