We get a lot of people asking for cheap Kombis that are ready to drive for around $15-$20K. We've listened and now we have this beauty ready for you. Okay, so she isn't that beautiful, she does still have dents and a bit of rust in her, but she presents well and drives nicely with a good 2 litre engine so for the price she really is a good thing.
As for the body and paint, we have gone over her quickly just to make her more presentable so she can be registered. She does have some poor repairs and some rust, but nothing major and she could quite easily be restored properly without having to pay professionals.
We have tidied up the front interior with new door cards and kick panels and cleaned the floor mats so she is comfortable upfront, though, at some stage down the track you will probably want to redo the front seats. The back is all ready for you to make your own? Go all out with a camper interior and a rock-n-roll bed, make it a 9 seater with a full set of seats or just keep it cheap and easy and build a bed base in the back. You can do anything. It's a blank canvas.
Mechanically this one runs and drives quite well. It has a strong 2 litre engine with a 2 Litre gearbox. As with all our Kombis we have completed a full service including new points, adjusted tappets, new leads and spark plugs, oil change and set timing so she is ready to go and will just need your attention on a regular basis to maintenance items and repairs as necessary.
