Have a look at our latest VW Beetle for sale. This is a 1972 1302 VW Superbug. We have restored this to look like it would have when it was cruising around back in the 70's. It is all ready for the next chapter in life which will hopefully include a lot more cruising the streets with you behind the wheel.
We sourced this one from an elderly guy out in Condobolin in country NSW so it was all pretty dry with very minimal rust, which always makes the job easier and the end result a whole lot better. We have taken this back and repainted it in its original colour in quality 2K paint, so the finish is better than it would have been from the factory.
On the mechanical side of things we have done a complete tune including adjusting of points and tappets, replaced spark plugs, adjusted timing, changed oil and cleaned the filter. After inspecting and servicing the engine it appears it has had a top end rebuild with the heads reconditioned or replaced very recently. We have also just replaced the brake master cylinder and rear brakes shoes and wheel cylinders.
Will come with a NSW blue slip and 6 months registration ready to drive away.
